This is my favorite of all the 4" pistols Wilson Combat builds. In addition, this one was my personal carry gun until I replaced it with a new one. The pistol isn't old & was built in the latter part of 2012. The RDP Elite is based on the Elite Professional model that has the excellent flanged cone barrel. It's so soft shooting, you won't believe it's a 45 ACP!
This RDP Elite is built in stainless steel with the very attactive & durable matte finish. It has a long list of standard features:
- Bobtail frame
- Serrations on top & rear of frame
- Gold bead front sight
- All bulletproof parts
- Ambi safety
- Flat wire spring
- Deep crown on muzzel
- Fluted chamber
I have lost some of my vision in my once dominant eye & put Crimson Trace Master Series laser grips on the pistol. It's sighted in & ready to go. Or, I can take them off & replace them with the original grips. The CT grips sell for $399 but you'll get a great deal on these!
This pistol has been shot just enough to know that it's reliable. It is a superb shooter with an above average trigger.
